Design: Exterior and Interior
The outside of the 2025 Chrysler Imperial is meant to evoke the grandeur and luxury of the Imperial nameplate, which, for a long time, was Chrysler’s most expensive car. The Imperial is long and sleek, with a high beltline, a low top, and a back end that slopes up to hide a liftback trunk. The front bumper has a prominent grille with vertical bars and the Imperial badge with wings. It has slim LED headlights and turn signs on either side of the grille. Two exhaust tips and a full-width LED taillight bar are on the back bumper. The Imperial has big metal wheels, and an air suspension can change the ride height.
The 2025 Chrysler Imperial’s interior is made to be comfortable and luxurious for up to six people, based on how it is set up. The Imperial has an extra front bench seat that can fit three people or a center console that can hold a pop-out console with storage and cup holders. The back seat is roomy and comfy, with ample room for your legs and head. The inside is lined with wool cloth in many colors, like Teak, Antique Clay, Carbon, and Seaside. The trim can be made of metal or wood, based on the buyer’s wants. An extensive touchscreen infotainment system on the dashboard lets you handle the music, directions, climate, and other things. The Imperial writing and logo on the steering wheel give it a classic look.
Powertrain
An electric engine in the 2025 Chrysler Imperial moves the front wheels. The motor gets power from a big battery pack built into the platform below. The battery pack has about 200 kWh of power and can go 630 miles on a single charge. There are several ways to charge the battery pack, including fast charging stations, wireless charging pads, and regenerative brakes. Power output and performance numbers for the electric motor have not been released yet. Still, it should offer smooth, quiet movement and a lot of speed.
Release Date and Price
The 2025 Chrysler Imperial will likely be shown off in late 2024 and will go on sale in 2025. It will be at the Jefferson Avenue Assembly Plant in Detroit, Michigan. This is the same plant that made the Chrysler 300. The price of the 2025 Chrysler Imperial has yet to be released, but it’s expected to be more than the $30,445 base price of the 2020 Chrysler 300. The Tesla Model S, the Lucid Air, and the Mercedes-Benz EQS are some of the other full-size luxury cars and liftbacks that the Imperial will go up against.
