New 2024 chrysler voyager Model, Specs, Release Date

New 2024 chrysler voyager Model, Specs, Release Date – The 2024 Chrysler Voyager is unquestionably one of the most famous brands in the minivan market. The 2022 model is as competent as ever, but it is now focused only on fleet customers rather than the general public. With a low purchase price and a proven platform, you really can’t go wrong here. Given that it’s essentially a cheaper version of the award-winning Chrysler Pacifica, you know it has tremendous potential. The Voyager is a capable people carrier, powered by a 3.6-liter V6 engine delivering 287 horsepower.

The 2024 Chrysler Voyager becomes a fleet-only minivan in a single trim level: LX. As a result, it is no longer available to the general public but only fleet purchasers. It has been improved, though, and now has the new Uconnect 5 infotainment system, which is more powerful and easier to use and is controlled by a seven-inch touchscreen. The new system supports simultaneous pairing of two phones through Bluetooth. It has Amazon Alexa voice control, wireless Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto with speech recognition, Uconnect Market and over-the-air upgrades.

The LX comes standard with Stow ‘n Go folding rear seats, a power tailgate, power sliding doors, heated front seats, a heated steering wheel, an N95 cabin filter, and an inflatable spare-tire kit. Silver Mist is a new paint color for 2022. The Voyager is the quintessential American minivan. While its appearance has evolved, the basic form has stayed virtually identical. That is not always a bad thing since consumers in this sector like a sense of familiarity. There is little to write home about in terms of outside characteristics. The Voyager’s standard LX trim level has automated quad halogen reflector headlights and 17-inch alloy wheels.

Interior

The modern automobile owner expects a little more from a minivan, and the Chrysler Voyager meets that expectation. The inside is an inviting room that appears to be high quality, especially given the pricing range. While the Pacifica is more upscale, and the Voyager has several rigid plastic panels, it is a pleasant place to be, regardless of the volume of passenger space available. With the absence of last year’s underwhelming L grade, the standard LX now has an eight-way power-adjustable driver’s seat and three-zone automatic temperature control.

Engine

A minivan’s principal function is to carry a reasonably large number of passengers between two sites securely and reliably. That is all. It does not have to be beautiful or speedy. Chrysler is well aware of this and has equipped the Voyager with a performance level that is best described as “timid.” Under the hood is a 287-horsepower V6 engine that does its best to move this 4,330-pound sofa. There is no need for a car to have a sophisticated powertrain if its primary job is to transport people from the casino to the retirement village slowly.

As a result, Chrysler has opted for a tried-and-true naturally aspirated six-cylinder engine. This engine generates a respectable 287 horsepower and 262 pound-feet of torque. As is customary for this engine type, maximum power is only available at 6,400 rpm, and maximum torque is available at 4,000 rpm, which means you’ll need to put your foot down to make any serious progress. The Voyager cruises around without complaint in town and is a decent interstate cruiser; just don’t anticipate blistering overtaking maneuvers. The nine-speed automatic gearbox shifts smoothly and effectively maintains the engine’s ideal powerband.

2024 chrysler voyager Release Date and Price

The standard FWD Sienna begins at $34,560 and is equipped with a hybrid system by default, providing fuel efficiency that is significantly better than the Voyagers at 36/36/36 mpg. It accommodates eight people by default but lacks the Voyager’s clever Stow ‘n Go rear seats, which increases the Voyager’s overall cargo space by a massive 40% when all seats are folded. Additionally, it has a higher horsepower rating than the Toyota.

The Sienna feels like a squandered chance for Toyota to finally offer it the interior customization available on Chrysler minivans for years. Thus, although being conceptually superior, it falls short of the high-value Voyager, which can be properly equipped with the most critical safety features for less than the Sienna’s base price. That again, if fuel efficiency and available all-wheel drive are critical to you, the Toyota offers an advantage – albeit at a hefty premium above the Voyager.
